Centralized system for newly-built medical institutions
SENLA team created a centralized system that combines all the needs of project management for a company that supplies medical equipment and furniture to various medical and preventive institutions.
The lack of an electronic catalog of equipment, an electronic system for managing the layout of catalog equipment inside buildings, and a project management system.
The Client did not have the opportunity to conduct a competent collaboration of the designers of the buildings and provide timely information to his customers about the design of the building. The records about the equipment and tasks were kept either in Excel or in paper form. The main task was to create a centralized system that would combine all the needs for project management in one place. SENLA was selected due to the availability of expertise in this field as previously we had projects related to project management in healthcare.
We created a centralized system, in which the loading of documents is available at certain stages, which can later be uploaded in the form of a single file or archive, depending on the need. This allows to optimize file storage locally and simplifies the search for certain categories of files.
We proposed the following concept of developing a system for conducting an electronic design of buildings:
Equipment catalog module (until this point, the Client did not have a unified system for storing information about equipment)
Design module (to simplify the process of design of buildings)
Project management module (to optimize labor costs)
- In the beginning, our business analyst contacted the Client’s representative to discuss the requirements. Following the conversation, a detailed specification was compiled with all the requirements.
- Based on this specification, we made a project evaluation and agreed on it with the Client.
- Every two weeks we had a phone meeting with the Client and discussed the results. Following the conversation, the Client made the necessary adjustments to the development process.
As a result, our solution offers many benefits as there are not many competitors on the client’s target market that can provide their customers with financial, technical, and project information openly and transparently. The Client repeatedly noted that due to the new toolkit they have increased sales and the trust of the clients has grown.
