Summary

An international company SENLA is looking for Java Software Engineer in Warsaw.

More than 800 employees work at SENLA's development offices in Poland, Croatia and Georgia.

We develop software for medium and large businesses. In our company, we're not selecting a person for a particular project, but the project is selected for you according to your skills and background. Also, once you've worked on a project for a year, you have a chance to change the project, in case you'd like to work with a different team or technology.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in development of IT projects, engaging in the full lifecycle from programming to project release.

  • Project maintenance and support.

  • Interaction with other developers within the team.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of commercial experience in Java development.

  • A good knowledge of Java Core 1.8.

  • A good knowledge of the Spring framework ecosystem (Core, MVC, Data JPA, Transaction, Security, Cloud, Boot).

  • Understanding of the main Java EE stack: JMS, JPA, JMX, Servlets.

  • Knowledge of SQL and other relational RDBMS, Hibernate or other ORM frameworks.

  • Experience in writing integration and unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.

  • Showcase familiarity with GRASP and GOF integration templates.

  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST, understanding SOAP and REST differences.

  • Experience in working with GIT, Maven/Gradle.

  • Intermediate English or higher.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Kafka or other message brokers (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).

  • Knowledge or experience in working with NoSQL databases.

  • Knowledge or experience in working with CI/CD pipelines.
